Today, users of Google are greeted with the face of John F. Kennedy embedded in the logo. This is because,50 years ago, on January 20, 1961, he was sworn in as president of the U.S. Kennedy, a WWII hero, won the election during difficult political times. He fulfilled his duties well, even averting thermonuclear war. R.I.P.
