US Open

So i guess everybody at school that knows me thinks of me as the basketball guy. Well, lately that's not been the case, for the past year and a half, i've been following ATP Tennis even more. Im not sure why to be honest, there isn't much correlatioon rules-wise between basketball and tennis other than it's on a court, but something draws me to it. Maybe it's the respect for the players and the tip-top shape they have to be in like basketball players. Maybe it's the ease with which they glide around the court. Or maybe, it's the breathtaking, jaw-dropping no look threw the legs hit to save point on a 12 shot rally and go deuce for the 6th time in a game that get's me going. Yea that might be it. Whatever it is though i have been following the U.S. Open with gusto since its inception this year, last week. Whoever wins, (My picks are Serena for the women's draw and Tsonga for the Men's) doesn't really matter although it would be nice too see Serena overcome her year of difficulties and see an American man on top a Grand Slam for the first time since Roddick in '03, it's really just about watching some good tennis.
