I just finished writing a feature on freshman football and the preview for tonights game and i just realized something....I like journalism, but i love sports writing! I'm not sure why, but something about it gets me fueled to write. i feel like i can write a good peice on other topics, but i think my best work comes when i'm sports writing.
Even a few times i've written about sports i've never played, but i'm happy to learn new rules and use what i know about sports in general to write a good piece. My two favorite sports to write about would definitely have to be basketball and football, but tennis rounds up at a close third.
Hopefully i can continue to write more sports features in the future!
