Crazy Driving Stories

If anyone reading this could give me some ideas that would be great:

We need some driving stories ( like tickets, accidents, the driving test) for the newspaper issue.
So if you know anyone willing to share their embarrasment, send them my way???
Thank you!

When I took my first driving test,
I had to rent a car from All Stars and I booked my appointment at Rocklin. He was parked at the school parking lot, and right when I got in, I saw another girl I knew standing, waiting for her ride to also go to the DMV in Roseville. Before I took the actual test, the teacher had to pick me up and drive me around to 'refresh' everything I learnt and review what I needed to know for the test.

While we were on the way to the DMV, the car (which was a brand new model, they got it 2 weeks ago..) broke down. I was driving it when the brake pedal started locking to the point where if I wanted to stop, I couldn't.

The teacher started shouting at me, telling me to stop, even though the pedal was locked..
We stopped on the side of the road and he had to call his friend to pick us up to take us to the DMV.
We got to the DMV 5 minutes late and they didn't let me take me test. After, we ended up driving to Roseville to ask if they had appointments that people didn't show up to, where I could take their spot. I saw the girl I saw in the school parking lot in her car, in the middle of taking her test and I remember feeling so jealous. The next appointment for Lincoln, Roseville, and Rocklin that was available was in a month.

I ended up going back to school, and booking another appointment at San Jose for next week, where I then skipped school to take, and passed. :)

so it was like my third driving lesson, which as many of you know, is the freeway lesson. I had this very old driving instructor... I was seriously afraid he would just keel over and die everytime i saw him...Anyway, he wanted me to get on i80 and just drive. so i did. i drove. and i drove. and i drove... i had driven way past auburn and into an area i had never been before. i had just started thinking that it was very strange that he had let me go so far, when i look over and see he had fallen asleep lol. it was hilarious. i really didnt know what to do, so i purposely ran over teh rumble strip on the side of the freeway. he woke up almost instantly, looked at me in a very embarassed way, and told me to take the next exit so we could start heading home. i was 45 minutes late :P

wow, San Jose is the farthest place I've heard of someone going for their test. Good thing you passed. :)
