is there more than meets the eye to Homecoming?

With Homecoming being filled with lunch time games and getting out of class early most students don't know how much work others put in for it in order for them to create life long memories.

Rallies entail weeks of work and planing by spirt. they also run the lunch time games which of course they have to come up with.

Special Programs spends four months planing one of the biggest events in Rocklin, The homecoming half time show. they spend hours and hours on end work on perfecting it so hopefully it can go of with out a hitch.

The class officers have extremely long days the week of homecoming. they have to help run lunch time games along with spirt then they have float construction which they have to be at every night they also have to get supplies for the rally for their class on top of all their other homework and extracurricular activities. not to mention the early Saturday morning after Friday spent taking down the float.

poster princess are busy making posters for everything and anyone who needs them.

Activities works endlessly on the homecoming dance which means lots of work. they have to get up early Saturday to set everything up that way kids can have amazing memories of homecoming at Hogwarts.

And we can't forget Thompson who has the longest day ever starting on Thursday and ending on Saturday night. he is at everything that is going on. which proves that he must bleed blue and silver because of his love for Rocklin High School.

That is just a glimpse of what goes into homecoming.

I knew that ASB put a lot of work in to Homecoming, but I completely forgot about Thompson! He always seems so hyper and energetic- I guess I didn't stop to think that he needs to sleep and eat just like the rest of the human race. Hopefully he is recuperating :)
