The First Day of School?

The first week of school went by like any other week. When walking through the halls, it felt like I had been away for a couple of days. Not months. Although I was excited that school had finally started and I could see my friend, there was no real sense of excitement for the first day of school. On every other first day of school, I had always felt that twinge of nervousness mixed with excitement for the unknown. But this year it felt like any regular day. It must come from having already gone through this process two years in a row. Anyway, I think this year is going to go smoothly!
