ASB frenzy

As third quarter ends, more and more people are setting up their classes and trying to figure out how to balance fun with mentally challenging courses. For the juniors, we're trying to figure out how to squeeze everything we need to graduate into six or seven classes. And then there's the buzz about ASB. I've heard more than a few people talking about how they want to be in ASB, and how they've been looking at the binder and are really excited to be involved for their senior year. As a class that must be signed up for right away, it's super important for people to decide what they want to do, AND get elections packets that come out in a mere few weeks, March 27th. This is such a good response to previous and always present degrading comments about how ASB gets everything and they're spoiled and don't do anything during class.

Hmm...I guess people finally noticed that this school honestly wouldn't function without ASB. As much as people feel left out of the 'cult' and there are definitely things that we can do to inform the student body even more, there would be no sports, clubs, activities, rallies, dances, homecoming floats, without ASB. Thank goodness people are finding this out and are deciding to get involved and have more fun their last year than they have before.
