Twilight

I really didn't see the big deal with the Twilight books. I'm not really a big fan of vampire books, but after all the Twilight buzz going around, I've decided to start reading them. I really want to go see the movie, but I don't know if it will ruin my Twilight reading experience. How was the movie for those who saw it?

I was skeptical too. I scoffed at all the Twilight-obsessed girls, and swore I'd never read it.
But the mania got me curious, and when I picked up that book, I couldn't put it down for three days. Then, I clawed my way to the next one, and found myself in tears 100 pages in.
They're amazing.
Don't let anyone tell you different.
However, the movie was a dissapointment. It doesn't even follow the plotline of the first novel... uck.

Over break I read the book in two days. It was amazing, and I'm making my way through the 2nd. I'm officially hooked on the books.

I am madly in love with the book! I haven’t read any of the others but the first so far, and the movie was just so different from the books it was depressing. There were so many little things that wouldn’t have affected the length or cost of the movie that would have made it so much better. I guess it just seems that the director overheard what happened in the book rather than reading it themselves. But as with most movies, the books tend to be better...but i still love Edward :P

Seriously, why do movies about books always have to suck? I did like the film version of Eragon over the book. The book took forever to start, it seemed, and I never even finished it. The Series of Unfortunate Events movie sucked though. It had so many plot points changed. And The Thief Lord. That movie adaptation also sucked. Awesome book, craptastic movie. Am I ranting to much? I just realized that. Your fault for reading.
