"he would love to go hunting for baby seals with her"

Why did you write a blog specifically to me? I don’t recall ever writing anything towards one individual but to people who support in a specific views…real mature there Mallory. And your picture is not visible by the way. I’m not offended, but just shocked our Senior Editor in Chief would target one person. Thanks.

At times, Palin is a bit of a joke, but I am more then tired of seeing and hearing her constantly being targeted.

rebecca- get real, please don't act "shocked". On a personal note, I think you're a very nice person. However, you've posted some of the most inflammatory articles I've come across. You talk about "protecting" marriage and "ties to terrorism." Protecting marriage from what? Ties to WHICH terrorists- those on philanthropic boards? sten to her response to some of these comments. It doesn't scare you that she would've been a heartbeat way from the presidency?

Yeah...
I'm a little disgusted with the change of attitude many people have had in the past week before the election. People I know to be kind and respectful have simply seemed to forget all manners and just attack the other side.

There is a big difference but a very thin line between disagree and disrespect.

I only hope that now that the election has ended, people can calm down.

And Mallo, just for clarification, this is in no way a direct attack towards you. This is just sort of a broad comment regarding all political attacks that have been happening on the blog as of late. I just hope you do not take this as a personal attack because that was most certainly not my intention.

OoooOOo i have an idea! lets find the least experienced and least knowledgeable governor out off a state that might as well belong to Canada and make that person the running mate for John McCain. Yup, that would be when John McCain lost the election. Or maybe Mr McCain lost the election in 2004, when Baby Bush was elected to his second term. George W Bush ruined any chance the republican party had in 2008. if the republicans think that sarah palin is the future of the GOP they need to seriously rethink their strategy. Uhmm Sarah who?

Of course people are going to get excited about the election. 2008 was the most important election of our generation! It is beautiful that young people can even care about politics.

Becka, it is our right as Americans to criticize the ignorant people who bring down the country. There is no getting around that Sarah Palin hurt the McCain campaign more than she helped it. And I hope that you don't still agree with Bush. If you do, then God help you.

Mallory Valenzuela for President 2036!

and yes...sarah whoever will be a joke in another six months.

FIRST OF ALL, IT'S A VIDEO. OBVIOUSLY IT'S BEEN BLOCKED, so it is a WHITE SQUARE if you view this blog AT SCHOOL. I appreciate the sarcasm though...it's definitely not a "cartoon".

I posted this video because I thought it was hilarious, and I do still think it is hilarious. I also have the write to criticize Palin. It's a blog people.

Becka, you asked specifically in your post about Barack Obama's "ties to terrorism" (and I directly quote): "Would someone care to explain to justify Obama’s links with The Weather Underground,
William Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Tony Rezko, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, and Rashid Khalidi..."

I posed the question, "Hey Becka, would you like to explain the joke here," knowing that you are a strong Republican supporter. I specifically wanted to hear YOUR OWN response, knowing that you support Palin; I also specifically asked you because of your past posts that quite frankly, have taken me aback. It was all done out of curiosity and my desire to hear YOUR OPINION since this is A PUBLIC FORUM.

AS THIS IS A PUBLIC FORUM, and it is my right to ask anyone directly what they think, I do not think you should feel personally attacked. That's the beauty of this blog, and you should know that your past few political posts have put you in this position. Of all things, you should not feel shocked, but instead expect that people will react to your posts and blog in response because they disagree with you.

Obviously, I vehemently oppose any ideas of Obama's "terrorist ties." Whether you like it or not, I will continue to post my opinions and I will not let anyone demean Barack Obama on something so false and innaccurate and something arising from just plain ignorance.

By the way, I didn't exactly "write a blog." I posted a video, and asked you a question Becka. As you can see, there isn't much writing there.

And to Michelle-your comment includes me as a part of this "group" and I understand that your comment is not only directed towards me but to other people as well. But I completely disagree with you. We should be HAPPY THAT PEOPLE ARE TAKING THE TIME TO BLOG ABOUT POLITICS AND HAVE THESE DISCUSSIONS INSTEAD OF SITTING BACK AND DISREGARDING OUR CURRENT STATE OF AFFAIRS. I posted a video, and I asked Becka a question. I titled the post "ahhh Palin...what a joke" because it is a joke. When people care, people are going to voice their opinions. I voiced mine, so can Becka and she has, and so can you. Pacifying the situation and saying that "I've lost my manners" doesn't work for me Michelle.

Rebecca, you deserve any attack made on you. You have the most ridiculous articles on Barack Obama and Prop 8 I have seen anywhere. How exactly is Obama a terrorist? Why is taking away rights protecting marriage?

I love it when people rant.
