San Francisco

Last weekend one of my friends, Danielle Huddlestun, and I took a trip to San Francisco to visit another friend at the University of San Francisco. I left school at 10:30 on Friday and my dad drove me to UC Davis to meet Danielle. After having lunch at the dining commons we rushed over to meet the bus that would take us to the Amtrak station in Davis. After some confusing directions we found the train station and boarded the train. The train ride went by quickly and we got off at the Richmond Amtrak Station in order to connect to BART. We took the BART from Richmond all the way into San Francisco and got off at the UN Plaza. From there we had to catch the bus to take us to USF. This was the challenging part, because we knew what bus to take but we didn’t know where it stopped. As we were walking along trying to find it we saw the bus coming, so we ran to catch it. Barely making it in time and dropping quarters all over the floor we were able to sit down and figure out when we need to get off. When we asked the driver when we would get to Fulton and Parker St. he replied that we were on the right bus but heading in the wrong direction. So at the next stop we got off, crossed the street, and waited for the bus to come in the opposite direction. Finally we got on the right bus, and after what seemed to be a very long bus ride, we got off at the school. The rest of the evening was must less stressful and we had a good time going to dinner, walking to the beach, and getting milkshakes for dessert. Later we watched Tangled in the dorm rec room and then went to bed. Luckily my parents were came the next to take us back so we would not have the stress of figuring out how to get home.

I would have DIED. I'm so bad at directions and definitely REALLY BAD when it comes to San Fran.
Congrats on making it out alive!
