Its kind of late to be posting a blog about break, but I had nothing else to write about.
So basically everything during my break was fine, we went to Kauai, Hawaii and I hung out with friends. Everything was great in Hawaii, warm weather, nice ocean view and cool shops.
Everything until the Thursday and Friday. Thursday was the day we were going to fly back home, our flight was at 6:45 am. So I wake up at 4 something to get ready and finish packing. We were a little bit late, but we still managed to get on the plane and we were sitting in first class so it was fine. We were all ready to take off and starting down the runway then the pilot tells us that they have to go back because something was wrong with the plane. I didn't think it was that bad because they were going to give us food and we could watch the shows they played on the screen. After about an hour of just sitting there, they tell us we have to get off the plane because they had to take off the door. They told us it wouldn't be until 8 until it was fixed. I think we were all getting restless. Since we were in first class we were able to go to the red carpet room to wait for our flight. There was free food so I was content. Then they announce that the flight would be delayed until 11 -__- So my dad decided to get a new flight. Our original flight was to go to LAX and have a connecting flight to SF. My dad got a new flight that went directly to SF in coach. That flight wasn't until 1 pm. So we ended up sitting in the red carpet room for 4 hours. We got to sit in first class for about an hour on the ground, not it air lol.
So we get off the plane in Sf ready to get our luggage and everything....except our luggage was still in LA. Because we switched flights, they didn't send over the luggage with us. So our luggage was stuck in LA. We didn't have our luggage for about a day. It was also raining when we went outside to get the car..it was nice welcome back -__-
On Friday I thought it was going to get better because all the things that happened, nothing could get worse. Well....I had spoken too soon. We had made plans to go to the mall on that Friday to meet up with our friends, and I was excited to see them and stuff. We were running late and I was just frantic. When I go in to turn on the car, the battery is dead. I was seriously furious. My sister had not closed her door all the way when we had left. So basically the door was open ALL week and she had killed the battery. I was mad because we were already late and we had no way of getting to the mall. Our friend ended up giving us a ride to mall so everything was fine after that.
Those last two days were pretty bad -___-
Wow this is a really long post. Sorry :/

It's a small world after all
At times, this world can seem so huge, considering there are 6,903,714,751 people in the world as of 3:42 on March 4, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. But maybe it is not really that big after all. The theme of Disney's It A Small World ride is that we all so similar despite how many of us there are or how far away we are from other countries. Also, technology has brought us together. Facebook can connect us with people all over the world. I, myself, have Facebook friends from both Italy and France. Yet, sometimes coincidences can also make this world seem a lot smaller. Just recently, I was talking with my friend, Mikaela Yerkes, and we discovered that we both lived in Arizona at the same time and we would have gone to the same high school if we both still lived there. Out of all the places to live in the world, both of us lived in two of the same exact towns at the same exact time. I was shocked. Even though the population is growing, we are still all human and will be connected no matter how far we are. So maybe it really is a small world after all.
Fun Fact: The population increased by 3,328 in the 24 minutes it took me to write this.
test
Test are never fun especially the week you get back from break. staying up all night to study then studying in all of your classes until the test is definitely tiring and stressful. On Wednesday I had my AP world test which i studied all night for; except for the three hours i slept. Then the next day i studied in all of my classes and the whole lunch. The whole process is stressful but it is really nice and reassuring when you have friends that are going through the same thing because, you can help each other and study together. Now today i get to find out what i got on the test:) lets hope that i did well!
Some things I was thinking about sort of
Well, I was reading the Yahoo News and I saw this article that was titled "The most typical face on the planet." It showed this image of this 28 year old Han man in China and said that there were 9 million men that fit this image. !!! That's amazing! What if there were 9 million me's walking around? : / So much for everyone being unique. http://news.yahoo.com/s/yblog_thelookout/20110303/us_yblog_thelookout/the-most-typical-face-on-the-planet
On a different note, last night I was looking at the legal marrying ages in countries across the world and I was surprised at what I found. I never realized that different genders had different marrying ages in many countries. Like, in Japan, men have to be 20 to be married, but women only have to be 16. And in Venezuela girls only have to be 14. I don't know. It seems so young to be married, especially at this day and age.

UGHHHHHHHHH
So I never try and look cute for school. But today, for some weird reason, I woke up and was like, "I'm gonna try and look nice".
OF COURSE I WOULD THINK THIS ON A DAY WHEN ITS RAINING OUTSIDE.
I curl my hair all cute (I recently got a haircut, so my curly short hair looked very nice) and I dress up in a warm, but comfortable outfit and I even put on some light makeup.
THEN I STEPPED OUTSIDE.
It was windy and rainy and immediately I think, "Oh crap. Why God? WHY?!?!" I thought it was going to be sunny and beautiful today like it was yesturday. NOPE. It's randomly raining and I'm absolutely hating it. Goodbye beautiful hair. I guess we will try another day.
God has a horrible sense of humor.

America's Anti-Hero
Everything he does is a scandal. Personally, I find him revolting, but he is paid millions per episode to entertain us.
Here is a compilation of Charlie Sheen's Greatest quotes to date on the Live the Sheen Dream Blog. He also, apparently joined Twitter recently, so that we can see the craziness in real time.
Enjoy the madness until the school decides to block this!

This is News!
This would have been the perfect side-bar to the teen pregnancy story. I literally saw this for the first time three hours after the print issue got sent in lol go figure. Click on the title of this blog (This is News!) and watch the video!
As far as the video, I love the humor. I was laughing so hard because of this...just ask Miss Holly all about it LOL. Beneath the humor, however, is a serious issue that thankfully, is getting better. The humor is more effective in getting the point across, but it also attracts a larger audience. And of course, the stereotypes...from the overprotective parent to the super easy girls to the guitar-playing-poem-writing-fake ID-owning jock...hahahahahaha good laugh.
And this, well this just goes to show how overprotective some moms are

oh and p.s. I love the idea of a mom being attracted to a senior boy hahahahah
