Another Benefit to Social Networking

So last Friday was the senior rally. I, like most of my classmates, was fairly depressed. Then I checked Facebook and noticed the large amount of statuses relating to seniors. More specifically, I noted that most of these statuses tagged the mentioned soon-to-be missed seniors. Then I started talking to a senior on Facebook. This may seem fairly obvious if you think about it, but the seniors are not really vanishing. We can still reach them on Facebook. It'll still be sad not seeing them everyday, but if you really want to see someone's face, you can always lurk through their pictures. So thank you, social networking, for making inevitable loss by graduation significantly less sad.
