"Valkyries are the handmaidens of heaven who choose the righteous and take them back to heaven." This is what Hitler tells his future assassin Count von Strassenborg. The Count has realized that he can only serve Hitler or Germany, not both. After he is wounded in Tunisia, he returns to Berlin and joins fellow conspirators.
