April Fools Day

I had a pretty amazing April Fools day. I ussually don't prank people, but this year I managed to convince a few friends that I was moving to Florida. It wasn't the best prank, but I was feeling accomplished. My April Fools Day got even better when I logged on to Twitter.  I am a huge fan of Justin Bieber, and all 36.9 million of his fans got together to pull a prank on him.  He in turn pranked his fans, and it turned into a prank war between the 19 year old singer, and his huge fandom. To top off my day, some friends from out of town came to visit.  I hadn't seen them in almost a year, so it was fun to talk with them.  So that was basically my day! It was a lot of fun, and a good way to end the break.

Leah's Birthday!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEAH!!!! I'm so happy that shes finally 16 (even though you don't have your permit yet)....anyways shes one of my best friends and I'm so glad that were still friends from Kindergarten in Mrs. Watkins class.  But I'm slightly disappointed that her birthday is on the first day back from Spring Break.  I also made her the best brownies ever, with pictures of Les Miserables all over them.  Happy Birthday Leah!
Easter

Easter just is not as fun anymore. I don't have any younger siblings or cousins, so nobody cares about fun Easter egg hunts or anything. Nobody cares about April fools jokes either. I can't say that I have too much spirit either, so I guess it all works out in the end. Still, I miss those days when I would look forward to Easter, like Christmas or my birthday. The joys of spring break are now over, much too quickly, and we have two full months without breaks before summer. There is no enthusiasm here.

What is the point of AR?

I have a hard time understanding the reason why some teachers make students read on the side of everything that we have going on during the school year. When a student has six to eight classes that they have to read in already why make students read more? With homework, sports, clubs, jobs, and tasks that people have to do at home, there is just simply not enough time in the day, unless I want absolutely no time to sleep for the rest of my life.
I don’t know about the rest of the student body, but going to bed around twelve at night and getting up at five, or so, doesn’t cut it. That’s not including AR. Some teachers even wonder why students sleep in class or use Spark Notes. I wonder why?
Moreover, after one finishes the school day they have to go to practice and get yelled at about how they aren’t giving 100%. That definitely tops the cake. With the two hours a week that are considered my free time, I can honestly say I don’t want to sit down and read a book. If some students want to, that’s great. They totally can. But as for me, I still don’t see the logic in AR.

Newly Found Inspiration

I have found a brand new idol! She's like Gordon Ramsey, except the queen of hair. Her name: Tabatha Coffey. I absolutely love her and have become addicted to her show, which is really bad for me since I keep watching it instead of doing my homework, but I guess the blog always seems to do that to me, but oh well.

I really don't want to go to school tomorrow. I don't want to see anybody, talk to anybody, or have anybody ask what I did this break. There's not much to say, I just didn't do anything.

I guess the only thing I have to talk about was the dance at the Mock Trial State Competition. It wasn't that it was bad, but it was sooo awkward. I NEVER thought that nerds (especially those in Mock Trial) could or would have the courage to dance the way they did. It was even more weird since there were really no rules and the adults didn't intervene at all. I felt so out of place... Some girls would love the fact that one team had their guys like somewhat half-naked (their shirt was ripped), but ew. I didn't sign up for that! But at least they were in shape. :P

TWO AND A HALF-ISH MONTHS UNTIL SCHOOL IS OUT! I personally cannot wait to be a senior and then get out into the world! I'm so done with homework and having to get up super early to get to class. It's really a hassle. I think these last two months are just gonna end up in one big push to get things done. I feel the projects comin' and I'm not excited, not to mention I still have 2 AP tests and CST and I have to take the SAT sometime soon.

Bloggers, don't forget to comment on someone else's post. Just one is fine!

Don't Blog

I am not a fan of blogging. I think that there is a certain type of people who are great bloggers. You know, people who keep diaries or have exciting social lives or possess a sense of humor. Meanwhile I'm just sitting here like a lump of uselessness trying to remember how to use blogger on my tiny phone screen.

Don't get me wrong, I love looking at blogs. Like, fashion blogs or craft mom blogs(I know I'm lame) , but every time that I imagine someone reading what I blog about, I can't help but cringe.

I don't even remember how often we're supposed to be blogging. Once a week? I hope so.

And now I'm trying to end the post, but it's too short and I'm trying to decide if I should keep going. To be honest, I don't think a single Rocklin High student who isn't in journalism knows about this blog. I suppose that's a good thing, since I'm ashamed of everything I've written so far. Sorry.

Dreams Come True?

This last Sunday, I went off to Disneyland. I haven't been there in three years and this time, my main goal was to get pictures of ALL the face characters. Lucky for me, most of them were found in towns-square and in the parade. But I did also get to FINALLY meet and greet my two favorite characters- Tinkerbell and Merida.
But going to Disneyland and California Adventure at this age really made me think about something- most of us grow up around some sort of television channel and all of it's shows, while others grow up with movies. Most of the people I know that grew up with Disney have said that the magic was lost when they became a teenager. But going there now, I feel like the magic only strengthened. Sure, it's cliche. To the extreme. But it only made me want to really want to work there.
I mean, that's what everyone keeps saying, right? Work where you feel the happiest? Yeah, big dreams, not gonna happen, yadah yadah yadah. But some dreams come true, right? Especially in Disney?
Only the future will know.
But yeah, so I got the pictures, then I saw the fireworks, Fantasmic (which is SUPER awesome!!!) and then World of Color (again, saw it the last time, except this time Merida and Brave was put in to the mix), but still amazing!
