Flash Staff of 2013!
Don't forget to blog at least three times, and comment at least six. Looking forward to next year.
The Fault In Our Stars
Yesterday for me was one of the best days of my summer so far. After going to Barnes&Noble I got home and started to read one of my new books, The Fault In our Stars by John Green. I could not put it down, I spent the rest of the day reading it. It's days like these tha I really enjoy during the summer because you really don't the chance during the school year. Anyways it was an amazing book and I would recomend it for anyone looking for a quick read it is not that long. And this amazing book was written by an even amazinger guy: John Green. He is an amazing author and person.
DFTBA!

Summer
Hi, my name is Trevor and I am going to be on the staff next year. Since I have Leadership 6th period(J2) I'll be in Journalism Management, Period 5. Even in the middle of summer, I can't believe my Freshman year is over. But, I'm really scared that Sophomore year will be even harder. I was able to get a look at my schedule, and I got all the classes I wanted... that's sort of what scared me. Definitely do not want to overextend myself. With ASB, volleyball, the staff, and all my advanced classes next year is going to be very busy. But very fun.

Ah, Summer :)
Summer has officially begun!!!! That means free time, water polo, friends, and Resonate. :) This will be an eventful and very fun summer. I have a water polo tournament coming up at Pepperdine and I couldn't be more excited. Also, if anyone didn't know, Resonate is at Adventure church every Sunday night from 7-8:30 pm. It is so much fun and you and anyone you know should come. They do so many fun activities that everyone can do and are amazingly fun. I am just glad summer is here, but I can't wait for the next school year to see all the incoming freshman. Well, I don't have too much to say, so... BYE!
One More to Go
So it's the last period of the last day of school. Not sure how I feel about that. I just pulled up the end of the year column I wrote last year, saying how happy I was the sophomore year was over. I correctly predicted that junior year would be signficantly easier. Now, I'm concerned, because I think senior year will be pretty hard. Not only will I be in more intense classes, I will also be filling out college apps. That's somewhat scary. Well, time to see how this goes...
My First Blog on The RHS Flash
Super excited to start blogging on here. Last day of school, woo! Can't wait for summer so I can get that awesome tan that everyone seems to get! I have so many awkward tans. Awkward Tan Line #1: Two very visable lines on my shoulders from softball uniforms.
Awkward Tan Line #2: Swimsuit criss cross tan on my back from the other day,
Awkward Tan Line #3: Water polo swimsuit tan on my back from a couple months ago that is still fading...
Haha this is so weird. Oh well, its my blog post! :D
Hope everyone has a fantastic, terrific, awesome, spectacular, super, superb, amazing SUMMER! :D
Until later,
Shelby B.

Balance
So i have finally gotten around to blogging.... i really dont like it haha. its just something about having to open up that i dont like. but i kind of have to blog so i guess i will. I am trying to find a job right now so that i can pay my way through college because i dont want to have any ties to my parents because we dont get along at all. everyone always says how sad it is and i know that it is. I wish that it wasnt this way, but it is so my best option is to pay my own way so that i dont owe them anything. I hope that maybe through out next year things will change between me and them but i highly doubt that will be the case. I am also really busy with graduation and getting everything together for asb. It stinks running graduation becasue i have to see my friends that i am losing every day. Its hard having to say good bye to some of my rocks but i know i will be visiting them and staying in touch with them while they go on to do great things!! Im also super busy with cheer getting ready for camp and the rally. I also have had a ton of finals these past couple of weeks. all of this just makes finding a job even harder.Oh well i guess that i just have to work on balancing everything and hopefully it will all work out.

Summer!
Yes i know another blog about summer... but what else is there to talk about right now.
Okay, so summer is officially in two days and i am so excited. This summer will be full of family, friends, cheer and work :) I am so excited to just be able to wake up, put on a bathing suit and hangout with my friends by the pool all day long. As far as the end of school, i am content with my grades and am excited to start my senior year :):):)

Another Benefit to Social Networking
So last Friday was the senior rally. I, like most of my classmates, was fairly depressed. Then I checked Facebook and noticed the large amount of statuses relating to seniors. More specifically, I noted that most of these statuses tagged the mentioned soon-to-be missed seniors. Then I started talking to a senior on Facebook.
This may seem fairly obvious if you think about it, but the seniors are not really vanishing. We can still reach them on Facebook. It'll still be sad not seeing them everyday, but if you really want to see someone's face, you can always lurk through their pictures.
So thank you, social networking, for making inevitable loss by graduation significantly less sad.
